Being Confident

Marvelous Monday to each of you

I hope all is well and that you had a great weekend. Getting right to the word today. The Lord dealt with me on Friday about this marvelous Monday word, so I started putting it together then. The word was established this past weekend, out of the mouths of two.  God is so wonderful in that he confirms His word to us.  Oh....how I love Him!  Getting right to it.......Being confident of this very thing, that he that hath begun a good work in me/us will perform until the day of Jesus Christ.  I am confident meaning,  certain, convinced, and in no doubt that God is true to His word.  He will continue to work on me and on us until His return. Because of this I am self-confident, and sure of who I am. It is only God that can give you this type of assurance.

Isn't it wonderful to know that God is working in us, and that He has not left us alone. He is very concerned about us especially in those moments when we don't feel He is there. The bible said, "the Lord will perfect that which concerns us," because his mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.  We are a work in progress.  We walk knowing that we are somebody in Him.  This is why we can walk in confidence.  Not because of anything that we have done ourselves.  Absolutely no good of our own selves.  We don’t walk around with our heads and noses up in the air, stuck up, and thinking more highly of ourselves than we ought to.   We maintain humility knowing that he/she that humbles themselves in the sight of God will be exalted in due season.  This applies to every area of your life. So, know who you are! You are the image and likeness of God, so that makes you somebody pretty special! That fact right there gives you all the confidence you need.

Philippians 1:6 Amplified Bible (AMP)

6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

God IS so Awesome!

Good morning beautiful people,

God IS so Awesome and I love Him! What manner of MAN is this that even the seas and the winds obey? He IS God...He IS my Lord...He IS my Saviour....He IS my Redeemer! I needed to give that shout out to HIM! Whew!  I hope each of you had a fabulous long weekend. I truly enjoyed mine. Just so grateful to see another day.....and it is because of His grace...His mercy! We experienced a great loss in Whitney this past week and celebrated her life.  One thing we can truly say is that the world came to church during her home-going celebration. It was so beautiful, and we may never know the impact that her death will inspire.  There will be those that will never step foot into a church, but one thing for sure.....a seed has been planted in the hearts of many. God will send somebody else to do the watering, and then HE will give the increase and grow that seed. For that we say Thank you Lord!

Remember...it is not the will of God that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  That is the will of God concerning each of us. So whatever it take to make that happen....remember.... HE IS God!  He will use whomever and whatever to get that across to His people.  Take comfort in knowing that He loves us enough to give each one of us the opportunity to say *Yes*. Yes to His will and to His way. It is as simple as that. We (people) make the process more difficult than it is because of *religion*.  It is simply developing a RELATIONSHIP with our Lord. As that relationship with Him is cultivated through his word you grow in Him.  It is He that will lead you and guide you into all truth. I don't know where your walk is with the Lord, but if it needs to be strengthened,  he is certainly there to embrace you.  Peace and blessings to each of you.

Colossians 1:10-11 KJV

 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

 11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Rest in Peace Whitney Houston

Good morning Everyone,

I hope everyone had a good weekend.  Mine was very busy, but good nonetheless.  Of course the big event was the loss of our dearly beloved sister Whitney Houston.  Our hearts and prayers go out to her family and all of those affected.  It is not a time of judgment by anybody because that is not our role. We have all fallen short of His glory and are not in a place to cast any judgment. The bible said, "There is none righteous (blameless, upright), no, not one"  So, in the coming days as we hear the various stories, rumors, etc, let us keep this in mind.  This is a time of reflection and gratefulness for the God given gift of Whitney.  She was a blessing to so many people across the globe, and will truly be missed.  May she now rest in peace.

With all of that said, I am reminded of the quote....."live, laugh and love." God has blessed us with the ability to do each of these things.  Take full advantage of your life and live it.  Don't allow drama and foolishness to control your life. Laugh as much as you can, and know that it is the joy of the lord that will give you strength to live.  And......to cap off this quote, "love." There is NO greater love than God's love.  When his love becomes real in your heart, you can love with HIS love.  Notice I said HIS love and not your definition of love. TRUST ME....his love makes it easy for you to love people, regardless of their actions.  Do these things today.....tomorrow is not promised to you.

Peace, blessings and love to each of you.

Philippians 1:21
21  For me to live is Christ [His life in me], and to die is gain [the gain of the glory of eternity].

To Endure

Good morning beautiful people,

I hope all is well and that each of you had a wonderful weekend! Some of you
may have heard pieces of this before but it's worth repeating. My hope this
morning is to encourage someone that might be a little weary or going through
something. Do you feel like you are really being stretched sometimes?  Can you
stand the pull, the WEIGHT (load, burden, or heaviness), and the WAIT (delay)?
The word of the Lord says, "Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall
strengthen thine heart."  You have that assurance because God is true to His
word!

I don't know a person on this side of glory who  does not go through
something. The reality is that we must all endure the trials that may come
upon us and get through them. Remember.......when you go through something you are going from side to side, end to end, beginning to end, and all the way
through.  You are not going to get stuck there in the middle.  YOU WILL COME
OUT! Another key word is "endure."  In the midst of this, faith and patience
are being developed.  You cannot have one without the other. "Without faith it
is impossible to please him."

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith; "who for the joy that was set
before him ENDURED the cross (for us)." THANK YOU JESUS! How much the more
should we endure (patience being developed) these light afflictions. Yes...IT
IS PAINFUL SOMETIMES.....but how much the more?? You can make it!

Peace and blessings to each of you,

Romans 5:2-5 (King James Version)

2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and
rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that
tribulation worketh patience;

4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our
hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

The Word

Good morning beautiful people,

It is a lovely day and we are thankful to see it.  I hope everyone has a
wonderful weekend .  Mine was very busy but wonderful all the same.  Today
we simply reflect on the Word of God. (CAVEAT: I am talking to ME, but
sharing with you.) I find myself going through a season of wanting to learn
more of Him. It is through His word that we find comfort and strength in
those times of need.  I cannot begin to even scratch the surface when I
speak of His word. The bible says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God." This is The same word that became flesh and dwelt among us. WOW!!

To get a true understanding for those that may not follow what I am touching
on in this message requires that study of the Word of God. It is not a
difficult process and it takes a moment of your time. For those that may not
read it much start with a scripture a day, or chapter.  You would simply be
amazed at the impact the Word will have upon your life. His word corrects
us, provides instruction for our daily living.  His word is a discerner of
the thoughts (or feelings) and intent of the heart (the core essence of our
being). His word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path.  It
will lead us and guide us, and show us God's will for our lives in thought,
purpose, and action. Whew! I could go on and on about the Word of God, but
let me end here.  Part two next week. There is no person that can instruct
you like His Word can direct you.

Be bless people of God.

2 Timothy 2:15 (AMP)

15  Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God
approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed,
correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully
teaching] the Word of Truth.

Unforgiveness

Hello Beautiful people,

"For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations." Marvelous Monday to each of you.  I hope all is well and that you are encouraged this morning.  Keeping in line with relationships, the word unforgiveness holds such power.  You remember when you were younger and it was so easy to hold a grudge (now looking back) over dumb stuff. The unfortunate thing is that this has carried into adulthood for so many people.  Remember the bible says, "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man/woman, I put away childish things." So those petty things that we harbor unforgiveness for need to cease. You hurt yourself more than the person you harbor unforgiveness for. Really.....none of us have the kind of time that will allow us to constantly live in a state of unforgiveness.  Life is so precious.

I dare negate the fact that most of us have hurts in our lives that may seem unforgivable.  But we must move forward because unforgiveness brings about bitterness, pain, sickness and even death.  Please don't get me wrong, the ability to forgive is not an easy process and for many will take a lifetime. Even in that you continue to seek healing in this area, until it is settled in your heart. As Jesus told Peter when he asked.... "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times."

We are created in His likeness, therefore we have the ability to forgive just as he has forgiven us.

Peace, blessings and love to each of you.

Get your MIND right

Hello Beautiful people

Another marvelous day to still be here.  God we thank you! Getting right to the word, "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus," our Lord.  We have all heard, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste." How important is this?  VERY! When we look at the mind, it is a way of thinking, our thoughts, our mentality and intellect. The mind controls our emotions, our will, our perception.

The word of the Lord tells us to, "be ye transformed (changed) by the renewing of your mind." The enemy desires to destroy what God made and said was good. YOU AND I!  The first thing he will attack is your mind or mental state. I am sure you have heard the statement, "He or She just snapped." Very true statement because, it only takes but a moment for your thought process to change your life forever.

It is so very important for us to keep our minds renewed in the Lord daily. To be renewed is to be refreshed, revived and recharged.  The way you do this is by reading his word, thinking on those things that bring life.  **Again, MIND those things that matter**  Remember.....He will keep you in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Him. How awesome is our God who gives us His peace!

Philippians 4:7 (KJV)

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Peace and blessings to each of you.

This is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes."

Hello Fabulous people,

Hoping all is well in your lives.  The word that has been with me the last few days is relationship. God symbolizes relationship, and because we are created in His image, relationship personifies us as well. I was sharing with my darling and dearest friend about how blessed I have been to be able and allowed to pour into somebody's life. There is no greater joy outside of serving God, than to affect somebody's life in a positive way.

What happens is, God will put somebody in your path that needs guidance, needs an ear, and most of all needs HIS love. We then build that relationship of trust and accountability between one another. This is SO important because you are entering into a covenant relationship with that person.  They are counting on you! You could be THE very person that affects their life in a very profound way. This is truly what life is all about! I cannot reiterate that point enough.  This is a great big world full of hurting people that need relationship with the creator FIRST and then with you. Look beyond yourself and help somebody else.  Your life will not be the same. I am honored to be used by God to help somebody that truly wants to be helped. This is my greatest joy outside of serving HIM!

Ecclesiastes 4:10 (NLT)

10 If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.

Peace, blessings and love to each of you.
