Fabulous day to you All

Good morning Beautiful people,

This is the day that the Lord has made! We rejoice and are glad in it.  I hope each of you had a wonderful weekend.  I take full advantage of my time off and it was truly wonderful :o) I mentioned last week about a series of things that I am learning where I worship. Well check this out: "Mind those things that matter" (Bishop  Felton Hawkins). Wow! How much further would we be in life if we concentrated more on what really matters verses all the other junk that we allow to take up that space in our lives. In other words, be more concern with your own life and the issues presented regarding you and leave other folks business alone. That mess/stuff is just taking up space. In the big scheme of things, who really has time to waste on stuff that serves no purpose.

So the encouragement today is to focus on.......think on.....and act on those things that will brings results, and enhance and fulfill your life. All the other stuff is simply occupying space, making you sick, and holding you back from fulfilling your potential. The bibles tells us what to focus on: "Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious-the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies." (Philippians:8-9, message bible). Focus on what REALLY matters.

Peace and love to each of you. Have a great week.

MARVELOUS MONDAY!

Beautiful day to each of you,

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I certainly did, but they just go so fast.....nevertheless I am grateful for it. I want to encourage you today and let you know that God IS with you. I have been so blessed by the word that is coming forth by my Bishop Felton Hawkins, and I want to share a nugget with you.  CAVEAT: This may not apply to everybody, but it certainly is for ME.....just sharing. Oftentimes we try to fit the mold of what people say we should be from a spiritual perspective. The bible says, "That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved." It IS NOT a difficult process.......BUT remember it will be at continual process as we grow in grace and in God.

From there......it is about relationship with the Father, NOT RELIGION. We build that relationship through study of the word of God.  That word is alive and will find us right where we are. It will instruct you, direct you, correct you, and equip you with the necessary tools to make it.  Don't allow religious folk to dictate how you come to God, but allow relational folk (Non-judgmental) to assist you in your transition. Notice I said assist you and not dictate to you regarding your growth in God.  The word will do that for you and to you. Believe me on that!! The key thing here is begin to build that relationship WITH GOD! He loves you right where you are right now (whatever state that might be). As you get to know HIM (our God) you will begin to reciprocate His love.  THERE IS NOTHING LIKE HIS LOVE and relationship with HIM!

I love you and pray for each of us.

To be continued.........:o) have a fabulous week!

John 3:16(KJV)

16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Good Day Beautiful People,

What a wonderful time of celebration, rest and relaxation! I hope each of you enjoyed this holiday season.  As we enter into this New Year, the word that comes to mind is: reflect.  Reflect means to mirror or reproduce....to think about or wonder about.....to reproduce or reveal.  Each year going into a New Year, we often find ourselves making resolutions (promises or declarations) that we often do not keep.

I challenge each of us to reflect and think about those things we did or did not accomplish. Mirror those things you did well, but focus on doing them at a greater level.  There are also those things you dare to do again. Think about what we can do, to better our lives and the lives of those around us; in other words, service before self.

Ultimately.........reflect on the word of God!  The word will show us our purpose, our objectives and our goals.   The word of God not only shows us our outer but penetrates deeply within our hearts to show our inward parts.  It will show us a reflection of ourselves, and reveal right where we are.  So, if we desire to press forward we must reflect, mirror, and reproduce the word of God.  It will not lead you astray. The word IS truly a lamp unto our feet and light unto your path!

James 1:23-24 (NLV)

23 Anyone who hears the Word of God and does not obey is like a man looking at his face in a mirror.
24 After he sees himself and goes away, he forgets what he looks like.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Blessings, peace and love to each of you!

Happy New Year beautiful people!!

It is a blessing to still be in the land of the living, and for that we are grateful!!  God has been so good to each of us.....merciful and full of grace! We acknowledge Him in all of our ways, and continue to look to Him for direction. What would he have you do going into this New Year? Where would he have you go? How does He want you to proceed? Look to HIM, the Author and Finisher of your faith.  "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near." Do not put all your confidence in man, but total dependence on God. Trust Him.....depend on Him to give you the answers to these questions.

I received a life changing word (and I mean life changing) beginning this New Year, dealing with transformation of the mind. (Truly the mind is a terrible thing to waste!) I touched on mindset a little in the Marvelous Monday message last year that bare repeating. Again, when I speak of mindset I am saying to change your approach, your attitude, or way of thinking GOING IN. We verbalize so much negativity regarding things we might be going through....why?...because of the pain. What would happen if we turn things around and began to speak life into every situation we might face.  Let us NOT go into this New Year....new day....new month defeated....but rather with a VICTORIOUS mindset.  What a challenge!.....but I believe and know things will change on our behalf if we take on this challenge.  If we change our mindset, everything else will line up.

Peace, blessing and love to each of you!

Romans 12:2 (AMP)

2  Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
